Hellloooo No I wasn't asleep, my Half hour turned into an hour, mostly due to hanging all the washing out then having to bring it all in again as it started raining then having to rehang it in the house!!!! Not impressed and not at all a constructive way to spend my time!!! Although with all the wet washing hanging up, house does smell wonderfully of fairy :) (not of a fairy you understand, more the fairy non bio sort :))

Hey bumpkins, you did well, I managed to get:

hallway dusted including banisters and skirtings
Living room dusted including sofa and fire surround
dusted all electricals and tidied dvds
    cleaned hallway mirror
    Half tidied bedroom
    dusted bedroom
    dusted landing

Thanks slimbrunett, I'm not sure where my enthusiasm is coming from, I think its the old nesting instinct!!!;) The HHC's are the only things I'm doing though hun, I'm not actually doing anything inbetween, well except from stuffing my face :o. Doing things in half an hour blocks seems to be the only thing that works, have never tried it before, but I'm liking sticking to a tight schedule and it really seems to be working today. But don't worry going to have a rest now, and for once I feel like I deserve it :T

    Hi All,

Sorry I'm late joining the thread this week. Only got back from UK visit at about 11pm last night thanks to strong winds delaying the flight, and the baggage handlers taking an age to unload our luggage from the plan (screen said they'd unloaded everything when only 8 bags had been unloaded!), so I have done F all so far, and haven't even thought about a full list. But, here goes:

    Unpack!
    WM X 1
    Put clean clothes away
    Change bedsheets
    Wash dishes
    Dinner
    Early night!

Had a fab time with the family in the UK though. My new newphew is absolutely gorgeous! I am totally, and utterly, 100% smitten! My SIL thought I would go off kids thanks to the crying and dirty nappies, but has realised that being around him has only made me more broody! haha. The crying and dirty nappies don't bother me, probably cos I'm not the one who has to be up 3/4 times in the night with him! lol

Was sad to leave (as always), but I am going back in November after my sister has had her baby. Oh, I went to the midwife appt with her and listened to the heartbeat! Cue me crying! Such a softie!

I have so much to catch up on, on this thread, so for now: HUGS to all who need them!

    xxx

Note to Self: When making sure bedroom is all nice and clear, ready for an attack of polish and glass cleaner, DO NOT, under any circumstances, sit on your lovely, fresh, already made bed.

The reason? I've just woken up. Surrounded by splats.

But the room looks tidy, doesn't it? :A

I think that I shall set myself a task of sorting out yet another load of my makeup and smellies and get them into the little CoD that they are supposed to be in at the moment. But I'm going to have to do something to fix that first - it was an IKEA set that someone had dumped because the drawer front had come off. Heaven knows what they did to it - the malm range is practically indestructible (I have the large CoD 'cos it was on special offer :))

    [rumble]

Actually, I think I might head downstairs and see what I can scavenge from the fridge...I still haven't had breakfast
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
