I have listed an item and stated in description UK buyers only. Someone from Malaysia has now bid and won the auction.
Does anyone know where I stand:
Do I have to let this person have the item?
If so can I increase postage?
Can I refuse overseas bidder and relist? If so do I have to do raise anything through ebay?
Thanks

Do you have it in your settings to only allow bids from UK?
If not, anyone can bid, and has done so.
Not sure if you can cancel the auction if your settings allow international bids, sorry.
AFAIK you are allowed to charge a different rate for posting overseas.

For future reference you need to set your seller preferences accurately here:

Unfortunately the winner, whilst unwanted is still the winner so you have two choices. Send an invoice showing the correct postage to Malaysia, wait 4 days and if it isn't paid by then start the nPB . Obviously if it is paid you will need to send the goods.
Or, refuse to sell and attempt a mutual cancelation. This might cause you problems though as buyer can disagree and lumber you with all your FVFs and still leave you poor feedback and stars.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
