Been using 1click dvd copy pro demo but is about to expire (very easy to use). Any1 recommend an alternative 'free to use' to download. Only backup the odd dvd so don't really want to purchase a full package!

If you look about on places like https://www.microdirect.co.uk you can find Nero for about £5-10. Version 6 is probably the best around in my opinion, at least for that price anyway.
If you want something completely free CDBurnerXPPro https://www.cdburnerxp.se/ is quite good, although in my opinion not as polished as Nero.
Or if you're thinking of getting into Linux, K3b is excellent (not far off Nero standard)."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
See the video editing thread inthis very forum.
Personally for copying DVDs I like DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink, they're good for stripping off menus etc. if you don't want them and getting a whole DVD noto a single layer disc.
Otherwise for most CD and DVD burning I use NeroIt's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

Hi I use DeepBurner Free have had no problems with it. Have just had a look and only the pro version backs up dvds.

There are quite a few free CD burners out there but no true free DVD burners as far as I could tell. Many purport to be DVD burners but when you try them they direct you to the paid-for upgrade version. Usually a proper DVD burner software package gets bundled with your new DVD burner or new PC that has one.0
