Things are looking up!:D - we have electricity this morning!:T :T :T

We've had no power since Wednesday lunchtime due to the wind so its been rather cold and dark here. I didnt miss washing, ironing, vacuuming;) or even the tv but i did miss light whilst trying to cook dinner (by gas), but most of all the internet! I honestly hadnt realised how much i use it! If i ever have to choose between tv and internet, internet would win everytime!

Anyway, back to business! Because i spent most of my budget for the week on Monday I have had to be so good since! Today i spent £1.10 on some eggs for some baking i intend to do this weekend, and have updated my signature - I forgot on Monday!:rolleyes:

Snaggles, your condition comes under the 'self-inflicted' category so no sympathy deserved according to my DH,;) (he has a strange sense of humour) but i can remember what its like, so :grouphug: WHAT DO MEN KNOW ANYWAY!:rotfl:

I spent my last £4.08 on petrol last night, now our budget is nil until Monday morning when another £85 kicks in!! I had to pay at "Pay at pump" last night as I needed to spend so little and was embarassed to pay such puny money!

D'oh, had to buy some milk, so 72p spent now. At least I didn't go to the supermarket - I might have spent a few pence extra at the shop down the road (I think it's 64p in Asda), but I also didn't come home with £30-worth of stuff I didn't really need, which is what I usually do when I go supermarket shopping!

Well I have £4.36 left in my projected spends, so that's all I'll be spending this evening in the pub, It'll be lime and sodas for me until home time, then I'll be using my bus ticket.

Spend £1 on a magazine trial but get £7 back from Quidco, working from home so should be a NSD otherwise.
Yesterday was bad, had to kill 3 hours between appointments and the best place was in a shopping centre as it rained but I resisted most of it and only spend £15 on some craft things I really wanted/needed.
