Late late deal ideas needed!

I'm trying to get away this weekend to somewhere for 3-7 days for the missus birthday. I've not had much time or luck with finding anything suitable.

It has to be a 4*+ hotel (real stars not Noddy ones!), at least Half Board, flying from London or Birmingham. There seem to be alot of deals to Egypt, but this has been ruled out. I fancied Marrakech but the majority of the reviews for the hotels are poor. Not really interested in Spain/Portugal/France/Turkey.

Looking for up to £500pp for the right deal.

Checked LastMinute, Teletext, Expedia, Virgin plus all the high street stores online.

Any ideas on where else to go or late deals before I get my ear chewed off?

I have been to Tunisia 3 times and love it but it could be rather mixed weather at this time of year.We were last there in November and were really lucky with the weather and had a very warm week.
We stayed at the Riu El Kebir 4 stars in Hammamet.

Thomson have it on at the mo for 14th-21st Jan from Gatwick, all inclusive @ £568(for 2 adults) (if you use promo code for £50,pm me for it if needed)

They also have loads of 4 stars half board options.

Thanks for that, have you been to Marrakech? Virtually every review I read for here has spoke of poor standards in hotels and poor food.

Thalassa Monastir Hotel in tunisia for £328 leaving Birmingham Intl
    14/01/07 - 07:10 coming back 21/01/07 - 14:30 on thomson.co.uk

I personally have not been to Tunisia but I would go in the future, just other holidays come up cheaper elsewhere and we are all down to the pounds and pennies on our holidays

    Ok a few questions first:

    1) What is your preferred weather

    2) What length of flight do you want?

    3) do you want some where with lots to do, or lots to see (touristy or picturesque)
