Cruise for December, who to try for quote?
karena
I am booking a xmas cruise, either NCL or RCCL for the Xmas period (one week) - any t/a offering good deals, I have rung around in the past and frankly have so little time and wondered if anyone out there had a good agent who offered discounts? Just a few names would help me.Also not charging the earth for ccards.
Many thanks. (no not being lazy just little time to sort out anything these days!!)

I've used Ocean World travel.
The others I have tried are Thomas Cook cruise dept (they will generally match a quote but not beat it), Bolsover Travel Club, Cruise Select, Bath Travel. In think it very much depends which cruise lines they do regular business with as my understanding is that some of the big firms have cut the percentage given to the agents - so there is less leeway.
I think all of them will charge for using a credit card. That seems to be the norm.
Half an hour on the phone may well pay for some drinks, excursions etc. Better the money is in your pocket rather than theirs!!!
Good luck!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
