the most confusing this is the HMV support team themselves dont seem to know whether its included.
I have 2 communications stating its NOT included
and 2 communications stating it is included

Just dont know what to do now?!?!?!??

I saw the ad when it came out and thought thats not that great a value for 12 months live which is normally £39.99 but available for less, plus 800 points, at no point did i think it included the game.

No where in the advert does it say it includes the game

in reply to the above, the card will have fifa12 branded logo on it (not the game)as they often do have branded cards

Maybe its down to what people know. I am not that aufait with the XBOX and XBOX games/accessories and how they are advertised. On the HMV site there is no detailed description of what is being advertised and all we have to go on is the following advert picture.

Looking at this it looks like it says 12 GOLD + FIFA 12.
I tried blowing up the image but it becomes unreadable. BUT I saw a similar advert on AMAZON and blew it up and what it actualy says is

12 months GOLD + FIFA Ultimate Team

I researched this some more and it appears that FIFA Ultimate team is an extension to FIFA 12 but you have to have a copy of the game.

I would say that the image (which cannot be blown up to read properly) as shown on the HMV site suggests FIFA 12 is included.
Which is missadvertising dont you think???

I dont think it is misleading but I can see your point that if you know nothing about the xbox it may be.

Fifa ultimate team is free anyway and my son has already set his team up without a copy of the game (which isnt out till next friday)

The HMV ad reads

Fifa 12 12 Month Gold Membership & 800 Points

Nowhere is there a + sign between fifa12 and 12

It could be clearer by stating fifa12 branded 12 months gold subscription but as I said before nowhere does it say the game is included

The more you know about xbox pricing the better I guess as the game is likely to have an rrp of £45, xbox live is £40 and 800 points are around £7, so unlikely that any store would be selling £92 worth for £40
