re-secunia PSI

Hi, Does anyone use Secunia PSI, as I have used it for ages, however, I cannot launch it , neither could I yesterday.tried to sign in their community blog on their website, cannot do that either. I ,ve had other problems, but can any one clarify psi is working??? Cheers

Just used it and scanned at 100%. I don't keep it running all the time.I do scans occasionally and rectify anything that is wrong.
Been using it for ages its good software.

I just ran a scan to be sure. No problems with version 2.0.0.3003.

Hi, Thanks both, I thought it would be.
I used revo to uninstal Avast yesterday morning and it resulted in
1,not removing all of it, icon on D/top and notification still there
2 couldn,t get my AOL e-mail, 2 hours today on
phone to get it back
3 Cannot launch secunia
4. Couldn,t register Avast free, until today.
Conclusion, revo took more than Avast off and left some on.OR, I have picked up an infection whilst changing AV,s that,s not being picked up by Avast or Malwarebytes,
Used it once only before. Tried re-installing psi, and logging in to it via website, No luck.
When I used Revo it said there were items relating to Avast that were still on, 100+ ans asked to click bold typed ones to fix, so I clicked the button for all, no idea which was which.Installed MSE to see if it would solve a long going printer problem santer has been great and helped me with.It didn, so I re-installed avast twice as it didn,t register in control panel as been on.
Only today registered Avast, and got e-mail back, only by downloading their latest version on to desktop.
Any advice would be most appreciated as I think it,s a very good tool.
Tried restore point Revo put on ??? before removing Avast but error came up,couldn,t, could onlt restore to last point recommended, which I did, but was after Revo. Couldn,t go to another point before 8/9/11 because it would undo all santers and Lexmarks hard work.

UPDATE:::Checked everything but something is stopping secunia psi connecting to the net? When I hover my cursor over icon it says trying to connect to net, my router.does not do it.even though a good signal strength is shown. As soon as I launch a browser, internet connects immediatly, but not PSI.Everything else connects.????????help please
