Hi,
I have looked through the power parts in the control panel already but does anyone know if you can reduce energy use while you are using the laptop i.e. not when it is idle?
I have a fan cooler that runs off the USB. Does this mean the computer works overtime thus cancelling out the effect of the cooler?
Answers on a postcard please.
Many Thanks

A fan cooler won't reduce the power consumption, it will increase it.
Laptops are fairly power efficient, turning down the screen brightness may reduce power useage slightly if you are worried about it.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
