I have a 5% regular saver with Skipton BS that they launched, I can view it online because I opened one of their E-savers (didn't fund it) to be able to do so.
Someone just asked me if this works for Newcastle BS (i.e. can you view offline accounts through their internet banking) I'm guessing no as it seems pretty unusual to me but can someone with an online Newcastle account confirm this for me please?

If you have an online account with Newcastle B/S, you can also see other non online accounts.
I have a passbook account with I can see online because of my Online Easy Saver account.

I also have a passbook account with them and I have opened an online easy saver with them in the last couple of days in order that I could view my passbook account. I logged on today for the first time and there is no reference to my passbook account.
Your link throws up the following message, "External component has thrown an exception.", which I presume is a euphemism for the link is broken ?.
I applied for an online easy saver on the 11th of September which was acknowledged by snail mail on the 20th of September, the interest rate was then shown as 3%(at the time of the account application*). When I log in today, I see that I have an Online Access Saver account with an interest rate of 2.7% but even worse a mim'n balance requirement of £500 before the 2.7% rate kicks in. (0.1% on balances below £500).0 -
The reason my link doesn`t work now is because that account has been replaced with this one:

You obviously didn`t get your application in by the deadline for the 3%, min £1 balance account.0
