Hi there
I want a colour laser printer, I have seen some now that are only £50 to buy, (with a 500 page toner) but then to buy a complete new toner set it costs £200!!
Can anyone recommend a budget colour laser printer with cheap toners?

Would you use compatible toners?

HP have cashback offers on some of their lasers at the moment

Laser printers are usually not ideal for printing photos0 -
It depends on the size but most will have a page yield figure
This has a 2500 page yield

This has 4000

Don't buy a cheap laser printer if you want to do photographs.
Buy a copy of PC Answers, who have test reports in the back for the best buys, and give the cost per page estimate of running costs. (May be available on-line)
How long does the cartridge last? Silly question.
Are you printing photographs? Or, are you printing documents with coloured inserts.
Are you using the printer all day? Or are you using it once a week?
The question is, how many A4 pages will it print, with average contents of black & white and colour.
AND: What resolution does it print at? 640 dpi for documents or 2400dpi + for photographs..0 -
You can get toner cartridges refilled, ask at your local office stationers. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Xerox and HP would get my recommendations for color laser printers, If you go the hp route you can actually get Xerox toners to use which are around 40% less to purchase and the same quality as hp.0

I am looking at doing flyers and labels, probably not many photos.
Just want one that costs about £100, and then is cheap to refill or replace toners0 -
You'll get a reasonable dell one from Morgan computers with a few sets of colour toners which will do you for a while.
