monument card goodwill refund

hi,looking for advice got a letter from monument offering £449 refund as goodwill gesture even though i had paid £898 over 6 years,they said i had no ppi should i accept or pursue full amount plus interest

I got the same offering half. Phoned them up and asked for the full amount and they said to write letter saying I did not accept the offer of half. I did this and just received another long winded letter saying they will pay the full amount. Hope this helps0
