Santander preferred Current Account

My wife applied for the Santander account last week. She is not employed, housewife. Got an email through on Friday that the account has been opened. She checked online through the old A&L website as she has a savings account with Santander. The account showed up with £250 overdraft.
As she has been offered an overdraft, will this mean she will be offered none online Visa Debit Card? Still waiting for a letter to arrive. MS0 -
Well even with my new santander current account, no overdraft but received a normal (embossed) visa debit card, so i assume she will starm0
