Just add fuel

Hello all - Im looking into the just add fuel deal by Peugeot and it runs out on 30th Spetember. I am waiting to get my driving licence back from the DVLA (I surrendered it due to an epilepsy diagnosis and have now been given the all clear to drive again) On checking my insurance now the fee is astronomical so in reality this deal sounds pretty good for me. Does anyone know if other dealers have done this offer? I am assuming my licence wont be back by September and I dont want to miss out - if anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Yeah it might not, but looking at the FAQ's and the T n C's there is nothing specified.

  • Look at the T&Cs,6667 miles then you pay extra.

Like any PCP deal which this effectively is, this can be changed.
  • Presumably you now have a medically restricted license, which needs to be renewed every 1, 2, or 3 years.

I have a 3-year medically restricted license, but have found when I get quotes that if I enter unrestricted license instead just out of interest, it makes no difference to the prices. In fact, some companies (Admiral, Elephant, Bell group being one example) don't even care as long as you have a full UK license.

If you're getting insurance quotes loaded because of your medical condition, I would look elsewhere.

Aw thanks Ian thats fantastic news. My insurance is sky high anyway due to locations and age etc, but I have now turned 25 so it may be cheaper. I have not received my licence back yet, Im just preempting it coming back! I have also noticed I kept paying my insurance, even though I wasnt able to drive?! So my no claims will last until October 2012!
Thanks for your help guys :)
