Martin - Is there any possibility of giving advice on business insurance - e.g. Employers liability, product liability, public liability, etc ?
Most of the insurance companies/brokers are starting to get together and impose a minimum premium (£750) before they will even entertain giving you a quotation. This is ok for multi nationals but not much help to SME's (small businesses). Well we are consumers too you know !!

What trade are you in? Do you have employees? What product do you deal with?

Some trades are well served by small package policies but these tend to be safe types like accountants offices, small retail shops and public houses. Other trades need a more bespoke policy particularly if you work in aerospace, off-shore industries or medical products.

Without further info its impossible to say if the £750 is reasonable or not.

YOu may do better in the small biz board. To be honest I've taken a decision that this is a purely consumers site and not to stretch to small biz (not enough hours in the day)
