can any one help i have put a claim in for mis sold insurance with welcome finance . they have agreed to pay out but they are taking it of the balance of the loan can they do that or can i insist i want my money paid in to my bank account .

You could try writing to ask if this can be refunded directly to you, because you wish to pay this towards another debt (if this applies to you), whether or not they will do this though I am unsure.
