How long are we expected to wait until we receive our PPI money back?

I was wondering if you could help me.

We received an offer through the post from Clydesdale Bank last week offering the money back that we had paid towards PPI on a loan that we took out over 4 years ago. We signed the agreement which stated that they would credit the money to our account when they received the agreement in the post. I know that they received the money on the 26th August.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to credit the money to your account and if their is a specific time frame in which they are meant to have it done?

Every bank vary's, but I believe the standard maybe about 21 to 28 days after, if you give them a ring, they should be able to confirm, good luck.
