need to get a week away in feb, ideally in a hotal HB.
Canaries is an obvious choice but these days sun is not guaranteed.
Anyone have any suggestions as close to home as pos, but with a better chance of sun?
Thanks

As far south as you can afford! (til you get to the equator!)0

Gambia or Cape Verde may be worth a lookTimmay!0

Leaving booking late and checking out the forecasts for me is the best way - managed a nice week of 76 degrees and pure blue skies in Marbella and Faro the first week in Jan. You can also get some great deals like this too.0

I`m told that the best chance of good weather in the Canaries is the southern end of Gran Canaria, apparently any nasty weather can`t get over the mountains in the centre of the island ?!?

Caribean is nice - went last jan and it ws about 30 most days. Antigua is only a 8 hour flight away. Have also done gambia and temp was about the same - slightly shorter flight0

I'd got for Gran Canaria....Puerto Rico resort. Have holidayed there almost every February for years with never a bad day weatherwise. Generally 30c daily.
Very popular with Nordic population though so Brits are generally outnumbered.
Hope this helps :O)0 -
