Can anyone tell me the policy on substitution with online ordering?
I can't find anyway of saying if I want items substituted or not, and if the whiskas is substituted for a higher price one, what do I pay?
    :DPlease, pretty please!:D
  • Thank you-got 2 yesterday from 0ldham Huddfld Rd store. There were stuffed right at the back of the shelf behind the fish ones marked at £13.99 but scanned at £3.49.

Friend of mine just picked some up at Gallows Corner, Romford. Shelf price £13.99, scanned at £3.49, only 1 box left.

    Thanks to the OP
  • They have lots in Tesco Extra in Dereham this morning. Hubby is shopping there as I type and he has just brought 4 packs.

Just tried our local but the shelf was empty. The SEL was a yellow one saying reduced from £13.99 to £3.49 so it's a proper price reduction rather than a mis-pricing.

Second store I went to had a load on the shelf but the SEL was the white one showing £13.99. Went through at £3.49 though:beer:.
Just need to get a cat now:D.

Those of you who have ordered online, remember not to go back to make any changes to your order between now and delivery as I've done this before and if it comes up as no longer available you will have to remove it from your order, leave it be so they have to substitute it!

Thanks, OP, will try online now :)

Sorry for the silly question, but if I can get it in my basket does that mean it should be in my store (unless someone else gets it in the meantime!)

OH said don't be stupid, you're not getting out of bed, getting dressed and going to Tesco's before it shuts to buy cat food, you can go in the morning. Guess who'll be going out just before 10!!

Be a different matter if it was beer!!!!

Well I can, and there are none at my store...hoping they substitute!
