Thanks sooo much for this. have ordered for delivery on monday, i have only done an online order with Tesco once before, it was a disaster & the substitutions they sent were ridiculous prices (eg, substituted 3 bags of value cat litter, about £1.19 each back then, for 3 bags of Catsan at about £6 odd per bag!).

i believe the substitution policy has changed since then, i am not hopeful of my order arriving correctly, i made sure i chose the allow substitute option, is it generally a suitable one ? i ordered 14 boxes (not all for me, but means only 1 delivery charge between us) & a couple of small items to make it over £50 so i could use the £10 off code.

i wont be happy paying £3.50 delivery for a jar of coffee & a bag of value cat litter if it all goes t*ts up:eek:

Thanks OP, just been to our local and picked up the last 3 boxes, the SEL said something in the region of £14, but scanned through SS at 3.49. Will help my mother and SIL out loads

Hopefully its still working tomorrow so we can pick some more up between us.

Southend sold out as great big SEL with £3.49 on it, same thing with special k.....perhaps theyll re-stock.

Sorry for the silly question, but if I can get it in my basket does that mean it should be in my store (unless someone else gets it in the meantime!)

OH said don't be stupid, you're not getting out of bed,getting dressed and going to Tesco's before it shuts to buy cat food, you can go in the morning. Guess who'll be going out just before 10!!

I can confirm this is also working on the fish 48 packets in jelly at the tesco in Gorton, got two boxes at about 9pm on sat

Ayr had 6 cases on the shelf at 10pm and none at 7am,looks like customers in this area all read this site.Shelf edge label was £3.49
