Thanks for that - I will try to order some for delivery tomorrow If they are out of stock, I hope they don't substitute with anything cheap and nasty (my cats are fussy!).

Re substitute items - you can specify in the box what you will and will not tolerate as a substitute.

thanks for the post, was hoping to get some cheap pet food for a friend who's been struggling reciently since loosing her job. She said that the pets are her main priority but just want to help her out a bit. Also found some brandy dog food 12 tin pack for £2.99!

have ordered 14 cartons of the cat food hope it all arrives along with 2 cases of the dog ones as not too sure what the dog will eat but know the cats love this food so quite a bargain also got 5 bags of the value dried dog food
Whole shop including delivery is comming in at £50.66! Used a £15 off voucher someone on here mentioned so she's a very happy bunny, just hope it all arrives have put down subs accepted so either way she'll get some bargains hopefully!

Hi, I have ordered 4 boxes through the click and collect service, when I checked out there wasn't a button to except substitutes so presumably if I go to collect them and they are the wrong price I can just refuse them.. is that correct? or should I take my printed conformation to customer services? sorry if this sounds like I am being thick I just never usually order from Tesco.. I had a call this morning from my local Tesco's...asking if I had used coupons as there was an error processing my order...I told them no coupons were used so the chap had to ring their helpdesk in India.

He rang me again about 30 mins later to say they had my goods (I ordered 10 boxes) , could I come and pick them up...sorry no I can't as I don't drive and Tesco miles away from where I live and no way I am balancing 10 boxes on my pushbike LOL
He said he would have to get my order cancelled and redone for delivery tomorrow...

I said that I wanted to make sure it was sold to me at the same price and he said if it came up more expensive, he would ensure the difference is refunded... he was going to call me again with a number/reference code...and confirmation of delivery tomorrow

but in meantime got a text to say delivery between 11 and 12 today....

so all be revealed...they told me they have picked my order so I have to assume they have my 10 boxes...
