hi

i'm new. been lurking but time to take the plunge.

after great advice from here reading a thread talking about how great Alex is and the support i decided to get a basic package from hostsphere.co.uk.

A week ago i sent a pre-sign up email. No reply.

I trusted mse and so signed up. I have sent three support email and still no reply. i've used both forms on the website. facebook i refuse to use and that my choice.

They were very happy to take my money but no word after that.

the control panel looks very old an doesn't have any features. also the pre-installers are outdated. i've installed an old version of forum software and now have to go and delete it all. not impressed in the slightest.

anyone got any contact details / ideas?

I'm always iffy about anyone who's new to the forums and their first post is bashing someone for their service.

I searched hostsphere and could only find 6 posts, search "hosting" and you'll find loads.

EDIT - "hostsphere" is registered through another business the person is selling...

I can't help with the contact details I'm afraid, I'm not 100% sure companies house holds the sole trader info although I'm sure they're stored somewhere.

  • I know Alex very well and i cant fault him or hostsphere :) I do know Alex and his team are very very busy but i'll send him this link and hopefully he can sort out any problems you may have.

I've used many different hosting / wed design companies and i wouldn't use anyone else now = faultless :)

thanks. i appreciate if you can so i can get things moving in the right direction. with reference to "his team are very very busy". customers come first. if you have time tot take the money equally you have time to answer support tickets.hire more staff if need be.

I'm not here to get into an argument. I have sorted the problems out. I did send the email using the live help form and other form from your website. Perhaps it is wise to trust customer and give these forms a test.

my IP is dynamic so you would not be able to track via IP.

With respect to auto-installers. i installed phpBB v2. this is over three years old and no longer supported.

I have no intention of walking away from you. I look forward to a long and prosperous business partnership.

i'll email your support next time i need help.

no hard feeling Alex. business nothing personal. if i pay i expect a service.

  • You have no right of reply

I suggest next time you sign up to a forum you spend some time reading the rules. You then add your email address and then promote your company cheeky devil. reported

    What's a company representative?

    Hello The_Matrix,

Firstly I would like to introduce myself (and point out to the MSE staff/Mods that I should be allowed to reply to this thread due to the nature of the situation) ....

It's not exactly spam if somebody notified them about the thread and they came on to reply to it.

You reply should just have informed them that they need to read that link. Although it is laughable that you told somebody to read forum rules; like anybody does that.

edit.. it's just actually taken me 5 minutes to actually find the rules so even if you were to read them they're not exactly easy to find.
