A word of warning do not use this on line travel agent to book a holiday, i recently booked a holiday to tenerife with this lot, i rang them first to make sure the hotel i wanted was available to which i was told it was and also the flights i wanted were also available so i booked the hol on their website and paid with my c/card,the next day i got a phone call telling me the flights had gone up by £75 anyway i paid this as the times were ok,then four days before we are due to travel they informed me the hotel was overbooked and they had put us in another one, when i looked on the website this hotel was £150 cheaper than i had originally paid so asked for a refund as it was not in the area we wanted to go but was told i could have hotel money refunded but not the flight money as they had booked them seperate, so if i had done this i am still stuck with flights to tenerife but no hotel, so basically you are snookered and they know it, i asked why they booked the flights before hotel and was told this is how they do it. I asked for some alternative hotels and was sent three star hotels even though the one i booked originally was a 4 star , please do not use ON THE BEACH.COM as you could well be disappointed as they sell holidays they dont have.

They're not even cheap, I've just done a comparison with an equivelent holiday offered by TC online for September next year, saving was about £100 but by the time you added bags and transfers there was nothing in it.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

For my holiday I booked my flights and hotel myself separately.
Flights with Ryanair, hotel through hotels4u (cheapest price I could find for the hotel I wanted). All went smoothly.
All the cheap holiday companies book through Ryanair and the like anyway, and it seems you can get the same price doing it yourself, without the risk of a phone call telling you the cost of your flights have gone up.0 -
Surprise surprise, someone else with another complaint about onthebeach
Does no-one do any research before booking?
Just Google 'onthebeach reviews' or do a search on this forum :eek:Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
