3gp files won't play

I've got some video on my old phone. Downloaded on to laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. They won't play. I'm sure they played on my old laptop (Vista). They are quite important. What do I need to do ti be able to view them? Thanks for your help.

Much, MUCH better than WMP and will play just about any file type...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

^^^ This is absolutely correct - anything FFMPEG can play, VLC can play - very powerful, useful and FREE tool :-)0
