help driver needed for packard bell scanner

hi, can anyone help me please, i a cannot get my packard bell 1200 plus scanner to work. i have lost the orignal disk. i have downloaded various drivers from packard bell website and others but it still wont work. It keeps searching for it when i plug in but keeps telling me i need to install disk etc.
