Samsung N150 Netbook problems

lisak79

I have a Samsung N150 netbook that wont boot up. When it is switched on it just comes up with the message 'operatiing system not found' ,the os is windows starter.
I have checked that the HD is showing in setup utility which it is.
I cannot get into recovery mode or anything. Please can someone help

When did it start showing this and what actions had you taken before hand, ie, "oh, there was a power cut/surge", "I dropped it,", or, "I bought it like this from ebay"

Also, check the cables? Check the motherboard?

Otherwise, take the HDD out - remove all the data you want to save. Now, you could reinstall the OS on it but...only bother when you've found the reason why it's not connecting.

Looks like the MBR is messed up. Repair it using a USB stick.

Is there any way to sort the MBR then?
