    I was a veggie for 11 years but gave up as lifes too short.

    It doesn't make you live longer it just seems like it.

    I used to be vegetarian, but gave it up as it became to expensive when i became a single mum - trying to feed 2 children a healthy, balanced vegetarian diet was impossible on IS. Now im working and supporting us myself, i could change, but the children like what we eat.

    I did the same actually when mine were little but went back to it as they got older. I'm just not a natural meat eater, never have been but don't judge anyone else. The only time I find anything negative about being veggie is when eating out, places just don't have the choice and it really annoys me when there are salads on the menu but none of them are veggie! lol
