Hi there,
We have moved to a new area and are currently living in a flat with no phone line or broadband.
I would like any advice on what to go for in terms of phone line and broadband. I'm not sure about the TalkTalk/Tiscali £20 offers as think I'd like more flexibility.
Thinking of going for BT Option 1, Primus Saver 2 and then 8MB broadband.
Anyone have any advice on what is the best and cheapest broadband if I go for this option. Or if I went for TalkTalk, does anyone know if I could get BT line rental and move straight to TalkTalk as can't seem to get anything without an existing number.
Many thanks.

I would get a BT line(I think min contract for BT line is 3 months) for now then you can get broadband once you get you new number. Most broadband companies require a BT line.0

If going for Primus saver 2, check out their bundled phone and broadband deal(s). They don't advertise on their website but you can find out more in the main Primus thread. It's a bit long so the link takes you to the end which will be more up to date...

My partner's daughter signed up last November. There was no broadband connection fee and she got a free USB ADSL modem and a couple of microfilters. It did take a couple of months for the broadband to be activated though.
Also check out 18185 for cheaper calls to mobiles , daytime, 0870, international, etc. You can have this and Primus saver 2.
