Just a heads-up about this account, which is the best graduate account pick on the main site at the moment. I went into my local RBS branch earlier today to try to open one but was rejected on (I think) the credit scoring bit. 'I think' because the branch adviser didn't seem to know why (she was also 30 minutes late for our appointment!), and neither did the telephone advisers I spoke to.

I do love a knowledgable workforce. Anyway, I graduated in 2010 and have been earning a fairly good salary since then, with no debt apart from student loans, so am not sure what could be up with my credit score. Also, and by way of contrast, I was able to open the Lloyds graduate account (second-best pick) with virtually no trouble at all. Would be interested to know what others' experiences have been, as RBS probably shouldn't be the top pick if the account only exists in a theoretical sense...
