    Its vile stuff to gassy made me feel ill when i tried it a few weeks ago. I love cider normally.

    I would have thought that most bottled beers and ciders do not contain any living yeast, as they kill it before bottling, this is to stop fermentation in the bottles, to stop explosions, etc.
    Obviously some is still living in these particular bottles. This is the problem.

    There are some beers that I know of that have living yeast in them and they are called bottle conditioned, I presume they monitor the amount of sugars in the beer when they bottle it, so that the pressure won't build up too high.
    Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
