  • I would guess we have had more threads about how much house prices are falling in pounds sterling.

How much they are falling priced in other things is certainly interesting but if you want to ignor and only think in pounds please stay away from these threads.

Has anyone made the house prices to ounces of goats cheese chart yet?

I would guess we have had more threads about how much house prices are falling in pounds sterling.

Luckily I keep a spreadsheet with handy records of all of our threads. It's hard work but I think one day it'll come in handy.

Threads about prices going up: 1,672,761
Threads about prices going down: 1,992,726
    Threads about Haliwide movements: 3,472,257
Threads about how much your house is worth in gold: 3,727
Threads with geener and hamish arguing endlessly about nothing: 4,276,265 (some crossover with the up and down threads though)
Threads mentioning how rubbish fiat money is: 347,263,178
    Threads mentioning Aberf*ckingdeen: 457,665
    Threads worth reading: 34
    Threads about goats cheese: 1
Threads featuring a picture of a penis: 3

In all seriousness though I actually agree with you. It's pointless measuring houses in fiat / paper money as the value is just manipulated by governments. And we all know that governments are all manipulated by some type of one world organisation anyway. The real store of wealth is in precious metals and we're seeing that at the moment. I bought £22,000 worth of gold back in the late nineties and my plan is that when gold hits £2,500 an ounce (which it surely will by mid-2013) I will be able to buy the dream house I've always wanted. People can mock all they like, but I refuse to take part in the corrupt world of paper money and firmly believe that we'll see a return to the 6631 to 1 ratio before long.

My next post will contain lizards.

Ha while we are at it yes you can certainly get a more acurate measurment, measuring house prices in pie than in pounds sterling.

Personally I like gold and silver because pie has not been money for the thousands of years of known human history.

I prefer to use the academetrics chart which shows us:

    DiscChart2.jpg

The missing data in May and June was when Tesco did a BOGOF offer on goats cheese, so no reliable data there.
Mind you, this is seasonally adjusted.
Also, as you know, goat cheese mining reserves have been completely depleted so the price can only go up.

Like I said only gold and silver have been money for thousands of years since known history began.

Chickens, stones like the paper we use today have only been used as money for short period of times.

But go ahead try and make a childish joke and think that makes your point.
  • How much has a bag of otters noses fallen?
    Not Again

    Thank you ..............

They have fallen 36.4% on the commodities exchange since 3rd March 1998. Water otters have risen 12% in the same period.

My water otter is brand new, and makes the water 'ot in less than a minute.

But it's time for my rather large G&T now, and not a cup of tea....
