What make & model is the printer?
No doubt someone will point you to a web site with it on when we know what it is you need.

try searching for a folder named the same as the manufacturer of your printer and have a look there.
are you using windows XP? if you plug the printer into the computer it may identify and load the correct drivers automatically.
other than that post the make and model as chaos said.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

xp hasnt got them as already 'loaded'drivers..i dont want to download them as it is 166mb and it would take ages . i found the only folder on there, in common files and it was tiny, have yet to try it but big discrepancy between that and 166. basically i just wantto know how to find my printer drivers that are already on the pc. does common files sound the right place? what sort of size would it be?Fr. Make and model?
Never failed (yet) with Driver Guide. Free to register and use. There will be a small driver file on there for your printer, I'm sure.
A bloated disc like yours; got to be HP.0 -
Try the manufacturers website, usually under support.0

Some manufacturer "drivers" come with loads of crud which they view as essential software. On a recent "swap out" for a customer their HP printers driver disks contained 280 Mb of such rubbish.
Driver Guide got it down to a couple of meg.0 -
Oh I didnt realise they were on dial up :doh:0
