TPS -help please

Hi, I have just received my first letter from TPS. My 'crime' was that I left the site for about 15 minutes - I did then shop in one of their shops and the times that they have stated on the ticket are incorrect as I couldn't have shopped and paid in 3 minutes.

I have read some of the threads on here and looked at the TPS letters, but mine is different and at the top says Traffic Enforcement Notice. It then goes on about parking charge notice. Am I still doing the right thing ignoring it or not?

Thanks in advance

My suspicions are this is just an invoice, like all the rest.

However, why not post a copy on here and let the wonderful more experienced members double check it for you, to set your mind at rest.

Just make sure you block out any information about you or any reference numbers etc, car regs etc, etc before you post.

I also understand as a newbie that Crabman will probably want to add it to the sticky if it is a new version, so others can see it and also be reassured.

We have seen them before using this term, however its BS don't mean nothing except to them. They also used to love calling their claims charge certificates!

All part of the trick of making their claims trying to look official. Ignore it as with any other PPC invoice.

TPS? Shopping car park? It's going to be private, so ignore it.

Before posting a copy, check the stickies as there's a better-than-average chance it'll already be there:

Might be worth asking the council to see the planning permission for that car-park, they might be breaching planning rules by not allowing people to park and visit other local shops.
  • Private = ignore....it matters not one !!!! what else the letter/ticket says....Private = ignore.

Why do people have trouble grasping that??
