Benjamin Franklin and kite solar PV
Remember the kite and the keys and thunder storm?
We do a helium baloon kite, whch will make it much easier to launch and stay aloft. The solar cells are imprinted in the kite fabric.
The domestic versions can float 50 meters up, below air traffic.
No need for south facing roof. Launch from ground level, so no messing about on the roof.
The industrial version can be sited somewhere away from air traffic, and go up above cloud level, so power production is consistent.
Bring them in when a storm is coming.
