In a few weeks I will be staying at the Travelodge Lymm Services and wondered if anyone knew of any good places (pub/restaurant) to eat in Lymm village rather than at the service station. There will be me, OH, mum and my 4 year old son (quite a fussy eater). Any recommendations would be great. Thanks.

There is a lovely pub on the way into Warrington, that does meals on BOGOF, I'm not sure about their kids menu as I was kid free when I visited :T. The pub was recommended by the Travelodge so if you ask at reception they will give you the name and directions.
HTH FiFiIf you find any post helpful, please click the thanks button! :T
I survived the M8 snowjam 6/12/10 - 17 hrs to get home :snow_grin

I've been to the place. It's been bugging me since you've mentioned it. I done a google search for it - it's Mascrat Manor, just off junction 21 of the M6

That was a lovely place. Went there for a friends birthday and if you like deserts you'll love their sharer desert - it's like a giant sundae with ice cream, wafers, chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce and lots of other chocolaty-ness in. It was the best thing in the world! (took ages to prepare mind you, although I'm not surprised it was busy and HUGE!)0 -
