Debit card refund

in Consumer rights
I paid my vodafone bill on the 1st september with my debit card but instead of taking 1 lot of money they took 3, i phoned them and they said it would take 10-15 DAYS to get my money back, after much ranting i was promised 48 hours, i still have not got my money back!! what are the rules on getting my money back please help they keep stalling me!!

    is it a Direct Debit instruction? If so speak to your bank, under the guarantee they should refund you immediately and take it up with the retailer on your behalf...

    They can take upto 28 days to refund.


    As you say, you ranted at them, so the person told you what you wanted to hear to shut you up -- simple as that.

    The telephone operatives won't have the ability to refund money, they will simply put the request through their system then another department will verify it and action it.
