Hi,
I have a old BOS account which I only use to pay in cheques as there is a branch near me I then transfer the money to my main account.
I made the mistake of moving some money before a trasfer to this account had cleared it meant I was £100 over drawn for a day.
I was charged £1 for this on the 30 June 11 this left my account 65p overdrawn. It is now the 9th of September. There haven't been any other transactions on my account in this time.
When I clear this debt will they charge me ~£70 at their £1 a day rate or is there some rule against them charging if a charge put me in the red.
I know thems the rules but I will not be a happy bunny if a 65p overdraft has cost me £70!!!
Cheers

If I remember correctly, you won't get charged if the overdraft is less than £10.0

The charges are made in line with account terms and conditions. Although I thought they didn't apply them for overdrafts of less than a tenner.
They will continue to be charged until the account comes back in to credit.
2 choices
1) Polite request for them to waive the charges (and you pay in £1 to clear the overdraft).
2) Change it to an URCA - cost £15 a month, a sack load of insurances and no overdraft charges for authorised overdrafts below £300.0 -
Cheers for the replies I understand that I am bound by the terms and conditions. I will pay it off now and see what happens! I would imagin that if they were going to charge there would have been charges from July and August.0
