dress stitching coming apart

i brought a dress from debenhams to wear at a wedding last weekend. i have noticed that the stitching on the hem at the bottom of the dress is coming apart. i saw that the stitching was coming apart as soon as i put the dress on but as the day went on it got worst. would i be able to take it back for a refund or repair. any help would be great.

    Take it back, show them the stitching, and hopefully they'll just replace it if they have it in stock.
    Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
    Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
