How do you organise your MP3's?

I use mediamonkey and I love it. It took ages to tweak the thousands of ID3 tags but now that's done, it's very easy to search for albums based on name, genre, year etc.
You can download it here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/download.htm
I use \<Artist>\<Album>\<Title>.0 -
I use itunes to listen to my music, and mediamonkey to do the tags etc. Its great for that :j

Which version of itunes do you use? When I upgraded to 7 it won't play anything without stuttering and encounters errors when I quit it. Every other media player works perfectly on my pc. I only use itunes to subscribe to podcasts and then listen to them in media player."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

The Media Player is not a problem but the way my MP3's are stored is. What does everybody else do?
i approach it from a files perspective first and player perspective second.
i have g:\-= mp3s =- folder which contains subfolders for types of music and futher subfolders for artist-album
i use winamp for a player and drag n drop what i want to listen to into it. dont bother with library functions.0 -

I'm very similar. Always make sure the physical file is named properly, as it's the filename I generate the tags from.
I wasn't originally a media library user, although I now encode in Ogg Vorbis, but like to keep my Ogg collection seperate from my Mp3's. So rather than have to jump from collection to collection, I can have them all showing up in the one place under Winamp (I actually use Rhythmbox in Linux at the moment but was a Winamp user before)."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I like using foobar2000 in windows.
I use linux now, and change between Rhythmbox, AmaroK, beep and xmms.
I dont tend to use ogg since my mp3 player doesn't support it. I would never use wma!0
