New Insurace Provider & NCB
Have decided that my 3 door car is not practical with a car seat and have decided it is time for a change!!
I know the car i will be getting, but my current insurer want double what the cheapest available quote is for the new car.
Current policy runs out in November, so my question is, if i cancelled now and took out a policy on the new car, would i loose the years NCB which i would have in November.
Does anyone have any thoughts on if it would be worthwhile paying that bit more for till November then getting a new policy with the extra years NCB?
Any thoughts on the subject greatly appreciated!!

Depends how many years NCB you have. If >6 then no benefit to having an extra year.
The obvious solution is to buy the new car in November0 -
Its going to be 3 years NCB in November.
I know, waiting till then would be the best option, but we can't really wait!!
Little uns stuff wont all fit in the current car if we go to visit anyone!0 -
Do some online virtual quotes to see whether it's cost effective to cancel now (bearing in mind the cancellation fees as well as no NCD being added for the current year) against sticking with your current insurer till renewal.0
