Talk Talk

Here is a letter I have just sent Talk Talk, am I mad to still consider using them for line rental.......

I have my line rental with BT & I use Talk Talk “Talk 2” for my calls.
This morning from BT I received an offer that were I to come back to BT for calls as well, I could have BT line rental & option 2 call plan for £10.75 a month.
Knowing all telephone providers make similar offers I checked my Talk Talk bill & found I was paying £4.99 a month for “Talk 2”, so I looked online & saw that if I were to take line rental & calls from Talk Talk it would be £12.94 per month. I wondered why I was paying £4.99 a month when it was advertised on the internet for £3.88. So I called & was told that was because I didn’t have line rental as well. I asked were there ways of getting a better deal on Talk Talk on account of what BT were offering me & was told I could have line rental & “Talk 2” for £12.94 per month for 12 months. But nothing for £10.75 a month like BT’s offer.
So I called BT & asked them if they had changed their call barring process to allow calls to be barred to mobiles only without barring national calls as well, they said no, so I told them I was going to move to Talk Talk to save on an offer of line rental & “Talk 2” combined.
I called 08000499999 at Talk Talk & they said that was wrong & to call 08704441820 so I did & selected option 5, they said this was wrong & to call it again & select option 1, I did this & was told I should have selected option 5!!!
I was fed up waiting, hanging on & explaining so many times, so I left it for an hour, till my headache subsided!!!
I tried again, & then I kept being told they were all wrong & to call 08000490498, again wrong!!! I called a number I found on the internet 08000497802, they said they couldn’t help me as I didn’t want to buy broadband from you (I am happy with AOL). So they put me through to the “right” department. I have just been cut off AGAIN getting put through to the right department.
I have rung Talk Talk at least 10 times this afternoon & spend hours on the phone waiting, being passed around from pillar to post being told wrong department call another. I have just been cut off for the third time during a transfer to the “right” department.
I AM NOT GOING TO CALL AGAIN. If you want my custom will you have the “RIGHT” department call me please, otherwise I will stay with BT for my line rental as I really cannot go through another afternoon of trying to find the right department at Talk Talk.
