Qualified Veterinary Nurses

Just curious about the publics perception of us.. What do you think of us? Do you know how to recognise a qualified veterinary nurse? What do you think we do all day? I really want to know how the pet owning public see us? Please post away :)

Do vet nurses get any training in animal behaviour/positive training methods? A vet nurse actually shouted at my very nervous rescue dog a few days ago, I nearly shouted at her to see how she liked it but just kept my mouth shut and remembered her name. Its no use knowing how to do the physical care if they aren't taught about the emotional care animals need.
