Hi,
So last year xmas (16th-30th Dec) myslef and the kids managed to grab a super crazy bargain to the Dom republic, it was last minute, I think I book about a week before and had to travel from Manchester (i live in London)
This year I am "hoping" to grab something similar again, naturally I have to keep an open mind and if I can get DR again that would be great, but what is Mexico like at that time, one one hand I hear it is pleasent but not hot enough for the pool type weather, again I hear Cuba is the same. Could someone who has been to either of these countries in December chime in? I know I would be fine with say the Gambia or kenya weather wise but I cant be bothered with trying to get the Malerone down little mans neck, I hear Cape verde is again nice, but not hot enough to swim in pool or sea and the sea is quite rough???
Maldives would also be nice (not sure about the 12 hours flying though) and last year had crazy last minute flights of £395 return for around the same time for 2 weeks, but the accomodation was too expensive, although if I can find an accomodation that will allow me to cancel or ammend a few days before arrival that could work I suppose.
Thanks
