I was going to but I wanted to see if anyone else replied on here.
Just to clarify, I sent the phone back to the seller two weeks ago. He received the phone. After asking for my refund, he said that he will not refund me due to it being damaged and that he has sent the phone back to me. Without even asking or consulting with me first.0 -
There's plenty of issues here to muddy the waters IMHO. How are you and you're Mum both communicating with the seller - are you sharing an Ebay login or use emails outside of Ebay?
Is this a business or private seller?
AFAIK if you have on O2 SIM on contract, they'll unlock the iPhone it's used with for £0 and for PAYG it's £15
Likely best to open a dispute via Paypal, but with so many 'grey areas' the case isn't cut and dried...0 -
If you dither much more you may miss the deadling for a dispute. Open it now and escalate it. Add the tracking and await the refund.0

As above,
Dont wait for the seller to repsond any further. Raise that dispute. It takes 7 days for the dispute to be sorted, so your adding additional time to the whole process by waiting.
Once its raised, you can still communicate with the seller, you can even cancel the dispute if you wanted too.0
