i rang up h and m and they said my order had been shipped to the uk (god knows where it comes from?) but i am having proms with hermes, saying they cant get in through my security gates, all they have to do is ring the buzzer, been waiting about 3 weeks now£2014 in 2014 challenge v-£30 c-£176.23 £201.23/£2014

I ordered from h&m earlier in the year and agree their shipping times are ridiculously slow. In addition, when I checked my order on the website the delivery date kept on changing - moving further and further into the future! Not a great service compared to other websites.0

Hello,
The timescale H&M give for their parcels is 4-6 days after dispatch which they state on their emails. I am a loyal customer and mainly been happy with their service. There was once when I had to wait for an item to become 'available' which was a bit annoying so I phoned them and the lady I spoke with explained that the parcels come from a warehouse in Sweden and as they are an eco friendly company they ship them over in their own boat as fast as they can. They also explained that you can only track your parcel once it has reached the courier from Sweden.
Although what is annoying is my parcels always come a day or so after the expected date on my confirmation email.
They certainly deliver the best quality for the price for me so I don't mind waiting slightly longer than other UK based companies.
Brittish society expect so much from online services these days imo.

GillyGilly, I dont see why expecting a normal service from reltailers should be a problem when we are actually paying such a high amount of money for that delivery, not even given options for any other delivery, such as picking up from the shop or next day delivery etc.
When anyone pays to have something delivered they will normally ave to expect a service in return! Otherwise then H&M might as well make it 99 pence delivery and nobody would complain.
Its pathetic to even have such an argument. If I know I'm paying for something such an amount then I get a crap delivery service like the one im having now then it is a problem, a big one in fact.
Its been over 10 days now and nothing has come!!! Now when I thought of contacting them to make a complaint, I discover that their web site is under construction! Thats all I need.0 -
I ordered something two weeks ago and no sign of it - I've just looked on my account and it's still under pending with deliver of 4-8 November!! Are they having a complete laugh?!?
It's a (maternity - therefore not stocked in most stores) winter coat - my need for it will be almost gone by the time it deigns to arrive!

I still order but also think its a ridiculous online service. I found last time that by the time they decided to despatch, some items were out of stock! So I paid £3.50 to wait 3 weeks for half my items, when I can order late one day for next day delivery from Next for £3.99...0

It takes so long because it's not shipped from the UK. Their other brands ship faster, Monki etc. But they charge £6 shipping for this.
As the stock isn't in the UK they obviously can't offer next day/store delivery.
It's frustrating but if something is not in stock in store it's the only way to get it!0 -
Ive now been waiting two and a half weeks for a top and a pair of shoes, even though they emailed me last week notifying me that it should be delivered within two days! So I then stayed in for those two days to make sure I didn't miss the delivery. I am one person who will never use H&M again as the speed of delivery is shocking and the customer service even poorer, considering the highly priced delivery fee. It should be free at the standard that it is, I never expected this.0

Yes an eco-friendly company that is paying 8p a day to Bangladeshi workers for their work :P Cheap / low quality clothes are not really eco friendly anyway.ally.0
