Going to Costa Tequise (Lanzarote) Any Tips/Help?

Hi Guys & Gals,
Me and the Fiancee are going on our Honeymoon to Costa Tequise on October 10th, we are taking our little boy (he'll be 8 months old) with us, and just looking to see if anyone has any tips or know anything that will help?

I've seen that the weather will be decently hot on the internet is this right??

We are all inclusive for ten nights () so does anyone know how much extra money we should take we only want to go out a few times for meals etc but we want to be going places (if there is anywhere to go!?!) most days?

Any ideas on where to go and any advice would be most helpful! :heartsmil

Thanks in advance.
Scott

For trips, go to the Last Minute shop , on Costa Teguise main street - we paid 120 euro instead of the 250 our hotel wanted.

If you have a small child, you can do the half-island tour - this is great because you still get the Timanfaya ( really not to be missed) and the vineyard, without having to stay on all day for the caves etc.

There is also a water park that you can book trips from the same place - we did not go to it , but friends did, and really enjoyed it.

A lot of people recommend the market - we personally didnt like it - very cramped, hustly bustly, hard selling etc, but each to their own.
    I don't know much, but I know I love you ....<3
  • Thanks everyone :D that Last Minute Shop sounds like the place to be for deals!

Link to Thomsons excursions from CT to give you some idea of what there is to do and costs etc. We went with Thomas Cook and their trips are of similar cost. Lastminute or local operators probably cheaper. We had a car, £93 for the week in August so cheaper still, petrol €1 a litre and pretty easy to get around.

we travelled with thomsons and usually do trips with them, they were very expensive compared to last minute travel.
when we booked the trips with last minute we were assured it would be only english speaking on the bus.ive got to say the guide was very interesting to listen to and certainly knew his job and only spoke in english on the bus.
just got back from spain and booked a thomson trip to gibralter, the guide was multi lingual, there were different nationalities on the bus,so everything he said was repeated in other languages.
i think last minute have a website so they might list the excursions and prices available.
i believe there is also a company called customer travel that gets good reviews for excursions but havnt used them myself
