ESA Support Group review question

I've been placed in the ESA Support Group and have been told I will be reviewed again in 6 months. I was wondering if anyone as had a similar experience and what are the chances of staying in the Support Group following the review?
What happens during the review? Is it another ESA50 etc?
thanks

I had my review a year after being put in the support group. I think normally you get sent and ESA50 but i wasn't sent one, though i did have to go to a medical, and ended up staying in the support group.
I'm due another this month. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Yeah, repeated re-assessments will occur for most people and presumably most in Support Group too. 6 months is at the lower end of the scale for Support Group re-assessment scheduling I suspect. I got a prognosis of 18 months (in my first/last medical assessment) so expect a review later this year perhaps. The review will take the form of another Work Capability Assessment but with more relevant evidence available to them than last time - they may still require an ESA50 be completed and a medical be attended in person and I would assume in most cases that will be the reality. Given you'll have evidence that you were eligible for Support Group it would be harder for them to evidentially show you aren't now... so chances are probably quite decent of remaining in S.G. You could always appeal if they decide otherwise. There are no guarantees I suppose.. you just have to hope they make sensible decisions and limit your harassment to what is evidentially necessary. Sending in medical evidence to support your case come review time can increase your chances of limiting the harassment and getting the right decision."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0

My husband has remained in the support group, try and make sure you have plenty of medical evidence to send with your next ESA50 and you might pass the next medical on paper and be left in peace.0 -
my daughter is 19 and profoundly disabled both mentally and physically. She will never be able to work. she has been in the support group for two years and have just recently had to redo the ESA50 form and has been placed back in the support group with out a medical...Mandy

medical evidence?
I recently contacted my Doctor of 5 years and he said all he has is anecdotal stuff, as all the stuff from my Hospital has been destroyed as I was classified Disabled for life inn 1993. That was when they threw me on the scrapheap and forgot about me.The DWP = Legally kicking the Disabled when they are down.0 -

My husband is under 6 consultants and he see the GP twice a week so he has plenty of paperwork, I was crippled 20years ago and got DLA/IVB for life then but I have even more paperwork than my husband has ready for my changeover for ESA and the PIP introduction, having a longterm disability means I have more paperwork evidence, not less.0
