Phone call from Natwest re branch changes

Hi I keep getting missed calls from a private number. Answered today and I could hardly make out what the guy was saying but he knew my name and was asking if I'd received a letter re changes to the branch network, which I think I have. He then said he needed to ask some security questions to make sure I was who I said I was. At this point I said I had to go and he said hed ring later. Does anyone know if this is a genuine call?

I don't know if it is a genuine call or not, but I would be suspicious too.

If he phones back, try to find out where he is phoning from (full address, dept. contact number) then check the address using the NatWest website to check it is valid. Also, you could phone your own branch if you still have doubts.

Do not give anyone your bank details unless you are 100% sure you know who you are speaking with, and never give out your online password(s).
