Abbey PPI Win

Hi,

I've received confirmation that I have won a PPI case against Abbey. They have confirmed the payment by letter on 22/08/2011.

Does anyone know how long it is before Abbey would be sending a cheque?

    Do you still owe Abbey some money, dont forget any the money will be used to reduce any debt you have with them first.

    Hi,

    no, its an old card which is no longer used.

    I've had the amount that I've 'won' stated to me in a letter. Just wondered if anyone knew of there timescales.

    Did they say it would be a cheque, the may refund you to the
    bank they took the payment from, ring and ask.

    It was PPI from an Abbey credit card and all payments made to it were from an Abbey current account. The letter from Abbey said they'd be sending a cheque to me.

    So hopefully I should hear soon.
