Early Learning Centre book amnesty
Just spotted this in my junk mail and thought it was a great idea. (hope it's not been posted before, I did search)
Last January, we launched the Book Amnesty appeal across all our stores, which resulted in over 50,000 used books being redistributed to children who needed them.
We're running the appeal again until the end of January 2007. It couldn't be simpler to join in:
Bring in up to 10 books your children no longer read.
We'll give them to local children who need them.
And you'll get a 20% off voucher to spend on toys in February.

Thats a fab idea. I think books should be recycled more. I have a whole stash at home im not likely to read again.0

What a good idea. My children are the same age so I don't have anyone to pass them down to. Have been meaning to have a clear out for a while so this would be a great opportunity to put them to good use.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0
